the rest of my not-so-lazy-sunday

I liked the Corcoran gallery. didn't love it, but had a nice time wandering around. i also walked around the area for awhile, stumbled through the GWU campus, and found a nice coffee place to get an iced coffee. then i met a really cool woman who happened to be visiting from Hawaii, where she teaches art history! she is in town looking at new collections at art museums and even has a gallery in NYC! we exchanged cards...hmm. such a cool coincidence!

Then, Liz picked matthew and i up and we met her friend mary beth, who was wonderful, and we went to dinner at Clyde's in Georgetown. Georgetown really isn't accessible from the metro, so it was sooo great to get to see it and bethesda. we had a wonderful evening and now i'm ready for work tomorrow!
